Dan's voice-over work has been heard nationally on a wide
variety of TV and radio commercials & promos including
DuPont, Barnes & Noble, Chevy, and TV Guide, to name a few.
He continues to do animation projects and was heard on MTV's
"Celebrity Death Match" during the late 90's.
His acting experience includes TV and Theatre. Dan began
as a radio DJ at WFBL, Syracuse, N.Y., followed by successful
morning radio shows in Houston, Dallas, and Tampa.
In the

Dan Stevens may no longer be on the radio locally, but chances are you've heard
his voice anyway - on television. The longtime (Tampa) Bay area disc jockey is
now living in the Big Apple doing lots of voice-over work. Stevens has done
prominent spots for TV Guide and DuPont, but it's the voices behind
"Celebrity Death Match" on MTV he likes to brag (and laugh) about.
Most recently, he did the voices for those cuddly lumps of clay, the movie
critic Roger Ebert and the late leader of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia.
In the late 1980s, Stevens joined the team at WQYK, 99.5 FM, and during his
morning-drive tenure there, he accrued some of the highest ratings in the
market. He moved to WRBQ, 104.7 FM, in 1996 and remained about a year.
Though he says he is "formally retired from radio," Stevens says he
has nothing but good feelings about a lot of the people he worked with here:
Mason Dixon, Beecher Martin, Ronnie Lane and Randy Price. He vividly remembers
the sudden hirings and firings so common in the industry, and to colleagues
concerned about all the recent changes he says, "The only words of wisdom
I can tell them is to go on the air and do the best job you can. You must be
content with yourself."
